Every dimension keeps its own version, loader, Java path, worlds, and packs. Hop from vanilla to Fabric, Forge, Quilt, or a 200-mod pack without files crossing the rift.

Source ships under GPL-3. Logo assets use CC BY-SA 4.0. Builds cover Windows, macOS, and Linux — Flatpak and AppImage included.
Windows SmartScreen may appear because the project has not purchased a Microsoft code signature — common for unsigned open-source gateways. Read the trust page before you step through.

Yes. GPL-3 free software for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Minecraft itself still needs a legal account for online play.
Open source under GPL-3 — auditable by anyone. SmartScreen may warn on unsigned Windows builds. Use GitHub release links from this mirror and verify 11.0.3 checksums.
Yes. Windows 10 and 11 are supported. MSVC builds need Visual C++ 2022 redistributable. Windows 7 and 8.1 are unsupported since 8.0.
